Job Overview

The Inside Sales Representative plays a pivotal role in the expansion of i3 Broadband. This position focuses on cultivating relationships with a diverse customer base, gaining insights into i3 Broadband's innovative technologies and offerings, and achieving sales targets set for the role. Inside Sales Representatives provide value by effectively managing incoming customer inquiries, establishing rapport with potential clients, and converting interactions into active customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize i3 Broadband's products and services to engage customers and drive sales.
  • Develop compelling sales presentations to promote products and services.
  • Make outbound calls to prospective clients and respond to incoming inquiries while ensuring accurate record-keeping.
  • Exhibit exceptional customer service and strong sales capabilities.

Essential Duties:

  • Achieve sales and retention objectives consistently.
  • Foster productive communication and maintain rapport throughout all customer interactions.
  • Identify customer needs and uncover sales opportunities.
  • Address customer inquiries promptly and effectively through various communication channels.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records.
  • Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to deliver outstanding customer service.
  • Communicate with clients via email and phone, following up on leads as necessary.
  • Stay informed about product updates and competitive offerings.
  • Promote additional products and services to existing customers.
  • Retain customers by actively listening to their needs and providing appropriate solutions.

  • Proficient in computer usage with a basic understanding of consumer electronics.
  • Adept at navigating multiple systems to access and document necessary sales information.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to i3 Broadband's standards.
  • Results-oriented approach.

Education and Experience:

  • Previous experience in an inbound call center or related sales role is preferred.
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Must possess a clean driving record for at least three years and pass a criminal background check.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit at a desk for extended periods, working on a computer for up to 8 hours daily.
  • Capability to use a headset or other communication devices as required in a call center setting.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to operate personal computers, copy machines, telephones, and other standard office equipment.
