Job Overview

Metro Industrial Services is seeking dedicated Assembly Workers for a prominent Automotive manufacturing facility. This role is a Temp/Contract to Direct hire opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

The primary duties for this position include:

  • Assessing the quality of components and materials utilized in production
  • Managing inventory of parts and tools necessary for the assembly process
  • Operating machinery effectively
  • Conducting tests on finished products to identify defects
  • Maintaining tools used in the production of goods
  • Handling the loading and unloading of small components
  • Ensuring a clean and organized workspace
Compensation Details

Hourly Rates:
1st Shift: $16.46
2nd Shift: $17.31
3rd Shift: $16.86

Work Schedule

Shifts:
1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
2nd Shift: Monday - Friday, 2:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
3rd Shift: Sunday - Thursday, 10:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m.
Mandatory overtime may be required.

Essential Skills

Successful candidates should possess:

  • Strong communication abilities
  • Physical capability to lift and operate heavy machinery
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to interpret and create technical documentation
  • Basic computer skills, including emailing and inventory management
  • Flexibility to work various shifts
Requirements

  • Pass a drug screening

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
