Position Overview:
We are currently seeking dedicated Mechanical Assembly Technicians for our second shift operations. The second shift runs from Monday to Thursday, 4:30 PM to 2:30 AM. In this role, you will be instrumental in assembling electro-mechanical components, contributing to the creation of sub-assemblies and complete assemblies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Adhere to both written and verbal instructions to accurately assemble and manipulate multiple components using hand tools and presses.
• Rotate through various workstation processes and provide support where necessary.
• Complete processing documentation, including drawings and work order travelers.
• Maintain a strong focus on safety by following company protocols and procedures.
• Conduct required safety function tests and inspections of your work and that of your peers.
• Identify and separate parts, ensuring the correct assembly of product variants.
• Assist supervisors in training new team members and setting up jobs as needed.
• Manage work orders, ensuring proper handling of non-conforming parts.
• Follow established procedures to ensure the safety and maintenance of mechanical equipment in your area.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
Safety Commitment:
• Regularly review and suggest improvements to safety procedures.
• Promote a culture of safety awareness among team members.
• Actively seek opportunities to reduce workplace injuries and health issues.
• Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent experience.

• Willingness to accept guidance and feedback.
• Experience with measuring tools and hand tools, including screwdrivers, pliers, and arbor presses.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with ESD protocols.
• Safe handling of sensitive components like circuit boards.
• Keen attention to detail and a commitment to quality assurance.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Preferred: Vocational training or experience in interpreting blueprints and technical documentation.
Language Requirements:
• Proficiency in reading, comprehending, and speaking English is essential.
Regular on-site attendance is a fundamental requirement for this position.
