• Complete all required documentation related to the position, including but not limited to: start-up checklists, pre-shift inspection forms, labor records, scrap logs, downtime tracking sheets, quality assurance checks, and product identification tags.
  • Fulfill any other reasonable requests made by management.

• Travel, including overnight trips, may be required periodically.

• Work overtime as needed, including before and/or after regular shifts and/or on weekends.

• Maintain punctuality and readiness for work at the scheduled time for every assigned workday.
  • Contribute to a safe, clean, and comfortable work environment by applying the principles of the 5S methodology (simplify, separate, sanitize, standardize, and support).
  • Fully comply with applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
Qualifications

Work Experience:

• Preferred 1-2 years of relevant experience.

Skills:

• Proficient in reading and comprehending documents such as safety guidelines, work instructions, maintenance manuals, employee handbooks, policies, and procedures.
  • Ability to apply basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of whole numbers, fractions, and decimals; capable of rounding numbers and calculating averages.

• Ability to apply common sense and sound judgment to execute detailed written or verbal instructions.

• Capable of addressing issues involving a few concrete variables in standardized scenarios.

• Must effectively interact with team members at all levels.
  • Ability to use hands for gripping, handling, and feeling parts.
  • Ability to wear necessary personal protective equipment, including gloves, protective sleeves, safety glasses with side shields, and steel-toed footwear.
  • Ability to use hands, arms, and wrists continuously throughout the shift.
  • Ability to operate vibrating tools such as grinders, drills, sanders, etc., consistently during the shift.
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, talk, hear, and write.
  • Ability to repeatedly lift, reach, push, pull, carry, bend, twist, and stoop with items weighing up to 40 pounds within designated timeframes.
  • Ability to utilize close vision, depth perception, and adjust focus to visually inspect component quality to standards.

• Willingness to work overtime for shifts lasting up to 12 hours per day, seven days a week.

• Ability to work in varying temperature environments.

• Ability to work in noisy settings requiring hearing protection.

Education:

• High school diploma or GED is required.

Familiarity with relevant KAPS methods and tools in all processes, and adherence to applicable KAPS standards.
  • Understanding and application of the relevant Shopfloor and Office Management pillars and standards, with active participation in all related meetings and activities.
  • Understanding and application of KIRCHHOFF Behaviors in daily interactions with colleagues, customers, and suppliers.
