Position Summary: We are currently seeking skilled Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technicians for our second shift operations. The second shift operates from Monday to Thursday, 4:30 PM to 2:30 AM. In this role, you will play a vital part in assembling electro-mechanical components, contributing to the creation of sub-assemblies and complete assemblies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to both written and verbal instructions to accurately assemble and manipulate multiple components simultaneously, utilizing hand tools and presses.
  • Rotate through various workstation processes and provide support during peak times or staff shortages.
  • Manage process documentation, including drawings and work order travelers.
  • Maintain a strong focus on safety by following all company policies and procedures relevant to your assigned environment.
  • Conduct safety function tests and inspections on your work and that of your colleagues.
  • Identify, distinguish, and categorize parts while building and recognizing product variants.
  • Assist supervisors in training new team members on assembly techniques and job setups as necessary.
  • Oversee work orders, ensuring proper handling of non-conforming parts.
  • Follow established procedures to ensure the safety and proper maintenance of mechanical equipment in your area.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Willingness to accept guidance and adapt to feedback.
  • Experience with measuring tools and hand tools, including screwdrivers, pliers, tweezers, and arbor presses.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
  • Familiarity with ESD protocols and cleanroom environments.
  • Safe handling of circuit boards and optical components.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality standards.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to follow both written and verbal instructions.
  • Dedication to safety practices and adherence to company policies.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Preferred experience in interpreting blueprints and visual diagrams.
  • Proficiency in reading, comprehending, and communicating in English.
  • Regular on-site attendance is essential for this role.
