Overview:
Belcan is a prominent provider of professional IT, Engineering, and Workforce Solutions across various regions including the United States, Canada, UK, Europe, and India. We are currently seeking a Technical Support Specialist II to join our team.
Role Responsibilities:
In this capacity, you will be tasked with ensuring that all operational equipment is safe, functional, and effective. A successful candidate will possess the ability to troubleshoot both hardware and software issues with minimal guidance.
Key Duties Include:
1. Conducting hardware inspections and performing maintenance tasks, including the removal and replacement of components/sub-components.
2. Utilizing a variety of tools such as multi-meters and screwdrivers to ensure operational readiness.
3. Understanding and executing software troubleshooting, particularly with command line interfaces and various computer modules.
4. Interpreting maintenance documentation and engineering drawings effectively.
Qualifications:
- Experience in maintenance, manufacturing, or engineering fields.
- Strong hands-on maintenance skills across various platforms.
- Ability to read and comprehend maintenance documentation and industry terminology.
- Proficient in systematic troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Capable of escalating issues to partner teams or management when necessary.
- Flexibility in adjusting working hours to meet operational needs.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards in work quality.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
Additional Requirements:
This role may necessitate a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) as driving a company vehicle could be part of the responsibilities.
