Job Summary

Keck Graduate Institute (KGI) is seeking an Adjunct Faculty member to join our Occupational Therapy Doctorate (OTD) program. As an Adjunct Faculty, you will be responsible for teaching, curriculum design, and research in our OTD program. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about innovative teaching, has expertise in Assistive Technology and Innovation, and is committed to furthering the mission and values of KGI and the occupational therapy profession.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach courses in Assistive Technology and Innovation for Everyday Life, ensuring compliance with ACOTE standards.
  • Design and implement high-caliber learning experiences, incorporating active and innovative teaching methods.
  • Participate in faculty meetings and events, and contribute to the development of the OTD program.
  • Support and promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in all interactions and work.
  • Develop and maintain collegial relationships with faculty, students, and clinical partners.
Requirements
  • Doctoral degree from a United States Department of Education recognized and accredited program.
  • Registered and certified as an occupational therapist by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
  • Licensed occupational therapist in the state of California.
  • At least two years of clinical practice experience as an occupational therapist.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in curriculum design and implementation.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in computer, online, and learning management system skills.
  • Superior writing skills and ability to communicate effectively.
