We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty member to join our Occupational Therapy Doctorate (OTD) program at Keck Graduate Institute. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching, curriculum design, and research in the OTD program.
Key Responsibilities- Teach courses in occupational therapy, including neuroscience for occupational participation and research and evidence in occupational therapy practice.
- Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with ACOTE standards.
- Provide expertise in areas of teaching responsibility and demonstrate knowledge of content delivery methods.
- Support and promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in all interactions and work.
- Develop collegial relationships within and outside the Institute.
- Doctoral degree from a United States Department of Education recognized and accredited program.
- Registered and certified as an occupational therapist by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
- Licensed occupational therapist in the state of California.
- At least two years of clinical practice experience as an occupational therapist.
- Strong attention to detail in course planning, implementation, and assessment.
- Proficient computer, online, and learning management system skills.
- Strong work ethic and team-based approach to working in a dynamic environment.
- Superior writing skills grounded in professional knowledge.
- Positive, welcoming personality for working with colleagues, students, community and clinical partners, and others.
