As an Adjunct Faculty, you will play a vital role in shaping the next generation of occupational therapists by teaching, mentoring, and guiding students in their academic and professional development.
Key Responsibilities- Teach and develop curriculum in Assistive Technology and Innovation for Everyday Life, ensuring a high-quality learning experience for students.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the OTD program, aligning with the Institute's mission and values.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure compliance with ACOTE standards and accreditation requirements.
- Participate in faculty meetings and events, contributing to the growth and development of the program.
- Doctoral degree from a United States Department of Education recognized and accredited program.
- Registered and certified as an occupational therapist by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
- Licensed occupational therapist in the state of California.
- At least two years of clinical practice experience as an occupational therapist.
- Experience in teaching and curriculum development in occupational therapy education.
- Strong knowledge of assistive technology and innovation in occupational therapy practice.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff.
