We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Student Records Analyst. This role will provide critical support to the Registrar's Office, ensuring the accuracy and accessibility of student records.
Key Responsibilities- Front-Office Support: Manage incoming inquiries, voicemails, and emails, providing exceptional customer service to students, faculty, and staff.
- Student Records Management: Oversee the fulfillment of student records-related requests, maintaining the integrity of student records and adhering to institutional policies.
- Liaison to Software Vendors: Serve as the primary point of contact for software vendors, including Parchment and ProQuest.
- VA School Certifying Official: Comply with regulations outlined in the VA Certifying Official Handbook.
- Training and Development: Provide training to student workers and other staff members on records-related procedures.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge and Skills: Working knowledge of FERPA regulations, excellent customer service skills, strong written and oral communication skills, and ability to learn and work with various technologies.
- Physical Demands: Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing, with occasional light lifting and moving of objects up to 20 pounds.
This is a non-exempt position with regular hours set for 8:30am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday. Up to two days may be remote in accordance with all aspects of the University's current remote work policy.
