Family Services Supervisor I

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Family Services Supervisor to join our team at the City of Chesapeake. As a key member of our Human Services department, you will be responsible for supervising a team of Family Services Specialists and Human Services Assistants, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our citizens.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and lead a team of Family Services Specialists and Human Services Assistants
- Monitor caseloads and ensure timely completion of tasks
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve program effectiveness
- Collaborate with other agencies and organizations to provide services to clients
- Oversee budgeting and fiscal management for assigned area
- Participate in community planning and development of new resources
- Bachelor's degree in a human services field or related degree
- Minimum of four years of experience in a human services area, including two years of supervisory experience
- Valid driver's license and driving record in compliance with City of Chesapeake policies
- Supervisory experience in a human services setting
- Experience in Child Protective Services or Child Welfare Program management
- Knowledge of OASIS system application
- Case review experience
