Job Overview
Luck Stone is currently in search of a dedicated Customer Service Associate who will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction. This position involves accurately processing order requests, effectively utilizing available resources, and maintaining clear communication with team members, sales personnel, and operational staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee, manage, and engage in the order fulfillment process, which includes order taking, dispatching, scale operations, and ticket management.
- Identify and allocate contract and private haul trucks to fulfill customer orders accurately.
- Provide precise mapping and directions, adapting to both urban and rural landscapes while adhering to common weight restrictions.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by meeting customer needs and providing solutions.
- Build and nurture relationships with customers, showcasing product knowledge by suggesting alternatives that align with their requirements.
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding inventory and trucking resources.
- Achieve departmental performance metrics and maintain benchmark service levels.
- Manage cash transactions, including credit card processing and customer deposits, while performing necessary account adjustments and ticket corrections.
Qualifications:
Applicants should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, along with a minimum of three years of experience in customer service. Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills, the ability to interpret maps and provide accurate directions, and proficiency in reconciling cash amounts and inventory levels. A VA Weigh-master Certification is considered an asset.
Work Schedule:
The working hours for this role typically range from 6:30 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday, with potential availability for half-day shifts on Saturdays as needed.
