Position Overview:
The Mission Ahead
Under general supervision, the incumbent will be responsible for daily tasks. This role may involve explaining instructions and documentation to facilitate work activities. The individual will assist in coordinating the movement of materials and equipment to designated work locations and prepare the work site. Responsibilities include maintaining records, tools, and equipment, as well as performing various cleanup tasks. The position may require moderate to heavy lifting and adherence to all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective procurement strategies.
- Analyze and assess supplier offers.
- Negotiate contract terms and pricing agreements.
- Monitor and report on key performance metrics to minimize costs and enhance efficiency.
Quality Control Maintenance:
Establish and uphold quality control measures to guarantee that all installations and repairs meet or surpass established standards.
Team Communication Facilitation:
Ensure clear and consistent communication within the team and with other stakeholders to keep all parties informed and aligned on project objectives and updates.
Additional duties as required.Qualifications:
This position necessitates the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship. An active U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility is mandatory. Willingness to undergo a polygraph examination and upgrade clearance as necessary.
5+ years of demonstrated experience as a procurement manager or procurement officer.
BSc degree in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration.
Familiarity with sourcing and procurement techniques, along with the ability to interpret market trends.
Strong negotiation and networking skills.
Proficient in supplier or third-party management software.
High School Diploma or
GED:
Required as a foundational educational qualification.
Attention to Detail:
Precision and meticulousness to ensure high-quality service delivery and compliance with safety standards.
Adaptability:
Ability to adjust to evolving conditions, technologies, and requirements.
Decision-Making Skills:
Strong capacity to make decisions quickly and effectively under pressure.
Scheduled Weekly Hours:
40 hours
Compensation Overview:
$68,425 USD to $102,695 USD
The offered salary will be determined based on the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience, taking into account internal equity.
Additional Compensation:
KBR may provide bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, in accordance with internal policy or contractual agreements.
Additional compensation may include sign-on bonuses, relocation benefits, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
