As a Procurement Specialist at Americann Made LLC, you will play a crucial role in overseeing strategic sourcing and inventory management. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage procurement activities for both new and existing inventory.
  • Optimize costs associated with purchased goods while minimizing potential delays in delivery or availability.
  • Supervise and coordinate the inventory department's activities.
  • Maintain and update promotional and delivery calendars.
  • Prepare and verify purchase orders, ensuring accuracy in inventory specifications and pricing; seek supplier recommendations for alternative items.
  • Confirm receipt of purchase orders by matching received items with those ordered in collaboration with the inventory team.
  • Address and resolve discrepancies in shipments with suppliers.
  • Request and evaluate quotes to select the most competitive offers.
  • Collaborate with approved vendors to secure goods and materials at optimal pricing and delivery timelines.
  • Generate periodic inventory reports to track performance.
  • Ensure adherence to established purchasing procedures and work instructions.
  • Oversee store opening and closing operations.
  • Support both internal and external operations, enhancing overall efficiency.
  • Adhere to all company policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Assume supervisory responsibilities in the absence of management.
  • Train, mentor, and develop team members through various initiatives, including mock sales and scheduled staff meetings.
