Position Overview:
The Mission Ahead

Under general supervision, this role involves managing daily tasks, explaining guidelines, and organizing work activities. The specialist will assist in coordinating the logistics of materials and equipment to various locations and prepare work sites. Responsibilities include maintaining records, managing tools and equipment, and performing necessary cleanup tasks. The position may require moderate to heavy lifting and adherence to safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective procurement strategies.
  • Analyze and assess supplier proposals.
  • Negotiate contract terms and pricing agreements.
  • Monitor and report on key performance metrics to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Quality Assurance:

Establish and uphold quality control standards to ensure all installations and repairs meet or exceed expectations.


Team Communication:

Promote clear and consistent communication within the team and with other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives and updates.

Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:
This position necessitates the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship. An active U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility is mandatory. Candidates must be willing to undergo a polygraph examination and upgrade their clearance as necessary.

Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in procurement management or as a procurement officer.

A Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration is required.

Proficiency in sourcing and procurement methodologies along with market analysis skills.

Strong negotiation and networking abilities.

Familiarity with supplier or third-party management software.

A High School Diploma or GED is essential as a foundational educational requirement.

Meticulous attention to detail is crucial for ensuring high-quality service delivery and compliance with safety regulations.

Adaptability:
The ability to adjust to evolving conditions, technologies, and requirements is essential.

Decision-Making Skills:
Strong problem-solving abilities to address issues promptly and effectively under pressure.

Scheduled Weekly Hours:
40 hours

Compensation:
$68,425 USD to $102,695 USD


The offered salary will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, skills, and experience, as well as internal equity considerations.


Additional Compensation:


KBR may provide bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation in accordance with internal policies or contractual agreements.

Additional compensation may include sign-on bonuses, relocation assistance, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, or discretionary payments for outstanding performance.
