Position Overview:
The Mission Ahead
Under general supervision, this role involves managing daily tasks and may include explaining instructions and documentation to facilitate work activities. The position assists in coordinating the movement of materials and equipment to designated work locations and prepares the work site. Responsibilities include maintaining records, tools, and equipment, as well as performing various cleanup tasks. The job may necessitate moderate to heavy lifting and requires adherence to all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate effective procurement strategies.
- Assess and evaluate supplier proposals.
- Negotiate contract terms and pricing agreements.
- Monitor and report on key performance metrics to minimize costs and enhance operational effectiveness.
Quality Control Management:
Implement and uphold quality control standards to ensure all installations and repairs meet or exceed established benchmarks.
Team Communication Facilitation:
Ensure consistent and clear communication within the team and with other stakeholders to keep all parties informed and aligned on project objectives and updates.
Additional responsibilities as assigned.Qualifications:
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance, necessitating U.S. Citizenship. An active U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility is mandatory, along with a willingness to undergo a polygraph examination and upgrade clearance as needed.
5+ years of demonstrated experience in procurement management or as a procurement officer.
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration.
Familiarity with sourcing and procurement methodologies, along with proficiency in market analysis.
Strong negotiation and networking skills.
Proficient in supplier or third-party management software.
High School Diploma or
GED:
Required as a foundational educational qualification.
Attention to Detail:
Meticulous attention to detail to ensure high-quality service delivery and compliance with safety regulations.
Adaptability:
Ability to adjust to evolving conditions, technologies, and requirements.
Decision-Making Skills:
Strong problem-solving abilities to address issues promptly and effectively under pressure.
Scheduled Weekly Hours:
40 hours
Compensation Overview:
$68,425 USD to $102,695 USD
The offered salary will be determined based on the selected candidate's expertise, skills, and experience, considering internal equity.
Additional Compensation:
KBR may provide bonuses, commissions, or other compensation forms for specific job titles or levels, in accordance with internal policies or contractual agreements.
Additional compensation may include sign-on bonuses, relocation assistance, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
