Nuclear Medicine Technologist Role

  • Position: Full-time, Day Shift
  • Reports to the Chief Technologist of Nuclear Medicine
  • Conducts all imaging examinations within the Nuclear Medicine Department
  • Responsible for the maintenance and quality assurance of imaging equipment
  • Prioritizes patient safety and employs high-quality imaging techniques
  • Qualifications: Completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Program, Basic Life Support certification, ARRT or NMTCB certification, and State of California certification
  • Preferred Qualifications: ARRT CT certification and State of California Radiologic Technologist certification
  • Proficient in operating imaging equipment, instructing students, effective communication, and troubleshooting technical issues
  • Demonstrates skills in reading, writing, computer proficiency, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
  • Able to collaborate with team members, lead initiatives, and work autonomously
  • Exhibits professional communication, critical thinking, and effective management of multiple tasks
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to observe and differentiate colors, odors, and temperature variations as required
  • Effective communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing
