Position Title: Radiologic Technologist 2
Overview:
- The Radiologic Technologist 2 is dedicated to delivering compassionate and individualized patient care, emphasizing the holistic healing of body, mind, and spirit.
- Responsible for administering radiographic and fluoroscopic ionizing radiation to patients in accordance with established protocols.
- Prepares patients, necessary equipment, and supplies for various examinations.
- Provides instruction and mentorship to clinical students as required.
- Conducts quality assurance checks and fluoroscopy assessments, along with routine and advanced x-ray examinations.
- Undertakes additional responsibilities as needed.
An Associate's Degree is mandatory, along with the completion of an ARRT-accredited Radiography program. A minimum of one year of relevant experience is preferred.
Skills and Competencies:
- Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English in a professional context.
- Skilled in utilizing essential computer software and equipment.
- Exhibits excellent interpersonal abilities with patients, healthcare providers, and team members.
- Demonstrates effective communication skills across various formats.
- Possesses strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Able to manage multiple tasks efficiently, work effectively under pressure, and operate independently.
- Capable of distinguishing colors and sounds, with adequate vision for reading documentation.
Possession of a California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license, American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and California Fluoroscopy Permit is required.
