Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Physician to join our team at the National Medical Association. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for interpreting medical images and providing expert opinions to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret medical images, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs, to diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions.
  • Develop and implement diagnostic imaging protocols to ensure high-quality images and accurate diagnoses.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including radiologists, surgeons, and primary care physicians, to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advances in diagnostic imaging technology and techniques.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure that our diagnostic imaging services meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Requirements:
  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Completion of a radiology residency program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).
  • Board certification in radiology from the American Board of Radiology (ABR) or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology (AOBR).
  • Current medical licensure in the United States.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with advanced diagnostic imaging modalities, such as PET scans and MRI-guided biopsies.
  • Knowledge of electronic health records (EHRs) and other healthcare information systems.
  • Experience with quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs.
