We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our esteemed team. This role is pivotal in delivering high-quality imaging services while ensuring patient safety and satisfaction.

  • Employment Type: Full-time, Day Shift
  • Supervision: Operates under the guidance of the Chief Technologist of Nuclear Medicine
  • Responsibilities: Conducts a variety of imaging procedures within the Nuclear Medicine Department
  • Equipment Maintenance: Responsible for maintaining and executing quality control measures on imaging equipment
  • Patient Care: Ensures safety protocols are followed and employs high-quality imaging techniques
  • Qualifications Required: Completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Program, Basic Life Support certification, ARRT or NMTCB certification, and State of California certification
  • Preferred Qualifications: ARRT CT certification and State of California Radiologic Technologist certification
  • Skills: Proficient in operating scanning equipment, teaching students, effective communication, and troubleshooting technical issues
  • Competencies: Strong reading, writing, computer skills, problem-solving abilities, and organizational skills
  • Collaboration: Capable of working independently as well as in a team environment
  • Professionalism: Demonstrates critical thinking, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Attention to Detail: Observant and detail-oriented, with the ability to discern colors, smells, and temperature variations as necessary
  • Communication Skills: Proficient in English, both verbal and written, including telephone communication
