Position Title: Radiologic Technologist 2

Overview:

  • The Radiologic Technologist 2 delivers compassionate and individualized patient-focused care, emphasizing the healing of body, mind, and spirit.
  • Administers radiographic and fluoroscopic ionizing radiation to patients in accordance with established protocols.
  • Prepares patients, equipment, and necessary supplies for imaging examinations.
  • Provides instruction and mentorship to clinical students as required.
  • Conducts quality assurance assessments and fluoroscopy evaluations, along with routine and advanced x-ray examinations.
  • Undertakes additional responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications:
An Associate's Degree is mandatory, along with the completion of an ARRT-accredited Radiography program. A minimum of one year of relevant experience is preferred.

  • Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English in a professional context.
  • Skilled in utilizing essential computer software and imaging equipment.
  • Exhibits exceptional interpersonal abilities with patients, physicians, and colleagues.
  • Demonstrates effective communication skills across various formats.
  • Possesses strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Able to manage multiple responsibilities, work efficiently under pressure, and operate independently.
  • Capable of distinguishing colors and sounds, with adequate vision for reading documents.
Licenses and Certifications:
Possession of a California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license, American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and California Fluoroscopy Permit is required.
