Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform all imaging procedures offered in the Nuclear Medicine Department
  • Maintain and perform defined quality control on all equipment used
  • Assume responsibility for patient safety while providing high-quality techniques
  • Teach students, instruct patients, communicate with physicians and co-workers
  • Operate all equipment in the scanning areas and perform various tests with that equipment

Requirements:

  • Successful completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Program
  • Basic Life Support certification
  • Certified and registered by American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) Nuclear Medicine (N) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT), and State of California - Certified Technologist - Nuclear Medicine
