We go beyond traditional insurance brokerage; we act as strategic partners for businesses in the Mid-South, empowering them to excel.
As an Account Manager for Employee Benefits , your primary responsibilities will include overseeing group benefits accounts, nurturing client and carrier relationships, and ensuring exceptional customer service for all assigned accounts. Key duties encompass:
- Managing the renewal process for Employee Benefits, from marketing through to enrollment.
- Advising on the design of employee benefit plans.
- Identifying and relaying sales opportunities to Brokers.
- Providing proactive consultation on the Affordable Care Act and compliance measures, ensuring timely information dissemination to clients.
- Maintaining client files and records in compliance with HIPAA and agency standards.
- Building and sustaining strong business relationships with clients, Benefits Carriers, Vendors, and other Business Partners while staying informed on relevant guidelines and policy updates.
- Keeping up-to-date with all lines of coverage and other products/resources available to clients.
- A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field or equivalent professional experience.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in Employee Benefits.
- Extensive knowledge of the employer-sponsored health and welfare benefits landscape.
- At least 2 years of experience in Account Management is required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently and work accurately under pressure.
- Current Tennessee Insurance Licensure.
- Familiarity with Agency Management Software systems.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly strong Excel skills.
