We go beyond traditional insurance brokerage; we act as strategic partners to businesses in the Mid-South, assisting them in achieving their goals.

As an Account Manager for Employee Benefits , your key responsibilities will include overseeing group benefits accounts, managing relationships with clients and carriers, and ensuring exceptional customer service for all assigned accounts. Additional duties will encompass a thorough understanding of Health Care Reform, compliance, and labor laws relevant to Employee Benefits and their administration. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with senior management and be part of a well-organized Account Management team.
  • Oversee the Employee Benefit renewal process, from marketing through to enrollment.
  • Provide consultation on employee benefit plan structures.
  • Identify and relay sales opportunities to Brokers.
  • Offer proactive advice on the Affordable Care Act and compliance measures, ensuring timely communication with clients.
  • Maintain client files and records in accordance with HIPAA and agency standards.
  • Build and maintain strong business relationships with clients, Benefits Carriers, Vendors, and other Business Partners while staying informed on relevant guidelines and policy updates.
  • Keep expertise in all lines of coverage and other products/resources available to clients.
  • Hold a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field or possess equivalent professional experience.
  • Have 3 to 5 years of experience in Employee Benefits.
  • Demonstrate extensive knowledge of the employer-sponsored health and welfare benefits marketplace.
  • Require at least 2 years of Account Management experience.
  • Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Capable of managing multiple projects and working efficiently under pressure.
  • Possess current Tennessee Insurance Licensure.
  • Familiarity with Agency Management Software systems is essential.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly with strong Excel capabilities.
