Position: Lead Aviation Project Executive


Foster CM Group is actively seeking a skilled Lead Aviation Project Executive to oversee significant aviation projects. This role is pivotal in managing complex assignments, ensuring that projects are executed efficiently and meet all contractual obligations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and interpret construction contracts and legal documents.
  • Oversee the design, development, and execution of projects, ensuring all requirements are clearly defined and met.
  • Monitor project quality objectives and evaluate progress against established benchmarks.
  • Facilitate project meetings, clarifying roles and expectations for all team members, and ensuring they have the necessary resources and training.
  • Review project schedules, identifying potential risks and proposing solutions to maintain timelines.
  • Assist in resolving design and construction challenges using established practices.
  • Evaluate deviations from project plans and recommend adjustments to stay within scope, budget, and quality standards.
  • Utilize sound judgment to mediate disputes and facilitate negotiations.
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews throughout the construction process and upon project completion to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Engage regularly with clients to align on expectations and provide updates on project status.
  • Offer constructive feedback to team members regarding project performance.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including owners, sponsors, and contractors.
  • Perform additional duties as necessary to support project goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Certification as a Construction Manager is highly desirable.
  • At least five years of experience in aviation construction project management is essential.
  • Comprehensive understanding of construction documentation and contract management.
  • Familiarity with safety standards and construction methodologies.
  • Strong service-oriented mindset.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for reporting on construction progress.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Proficient in relevant software applications.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Capability to work independently or collaboratively within a team.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions typical of construction sites.
  • Knowledge of cost estimation and scheduling is advantageous.
  • Must be able to obtain Security Clearance.
