As an Aviation Operations Supervisor at Menzies Aviation, you will take charge of overseeing and managing all Aircraft Fueling personnel involved in the Fueling Operations. Your role will include providing both written and verbal directives while ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate data regarding incoming flights, including scheduled or anticipated arrival and departure times, destinations, and subsequent station stops to effectively organize work activities.
  • Lead and coordinate all operational functions, ensuring that personnel and equipment are prepared for fueling and defueling tasks.
  • Supervise staff within the Fueling Department.
  • Review operational reports and facility conditions to assess the effectiveness of current methods and equipment.
  • Formulate and present suggestions aimed at enhancing the efficiency of fueling operations.
  • Investigate incidents and propose safety measures to prevent future occurrences.
  • Engage in the hiring, training, and performance evaluation of employees; manage work assignments and address employee concerns.
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Previous experience in Aircraft Fueling is essential.
  • Management or supervisory experience in the aviation sector is preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening and other assessments.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Ability to lift up to 70lbs regularly.
  • Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
  • Flexible availability for shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Must pass a background check and obtain necessary security clearances.

  • Quick learner with the ability to grasp new concepts rapidly.
  • Capable of understanding and executing both oral and written instructions, seeking clarification when necessary.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
