We are seeking an Aviation Engineering Specialist to become part of our team. This role offers the chance to work on a variety of stimulating projects for local airports and private clients. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience and possess a PE certification. They should also demonstrate expertise in designing and managing aviation projects, as well as in producing plans, specifications, and estimates for airport entities and private clients.
Work Arrangement

This position offers a hybrid work model. Employees may work from any of our numerous locations, with several having dedicated aviation teams or focusing on aviation business development. Remote work options are also available.
Your Contributions
  • Lead the design of various components, including pavement, drainage, utilities, lighting/NAVAIDS, security, and fuel facilities.
  • Conduct thorough independent quality control reviews of project design calculation files.
  • Oversee the compilation and coordination of plans, specifications, cost estimates, and pay items.
  • Review drafting and assemble plan sets.
  • Create and manage task work plans for team members.
  • Encourage active team communication and organize technical design staff meetings.
  • Occasionally conduct field construction observation, which may involve travel.
  • Participate in professional organizations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline is required.
  • Experience with FAA design standards is essential.
  • Current P.E. license or plans to obtain one shortly.
  • Proficient in CADD software.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Adept at complex analysis and design.
  • Capable of producing comprehensive design packages for designated elements or projects.
  • Skilled in teamwork.
