Position Overview

We are seeking an ENTERPRISE ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE specializing in the TMT (Telecommunications, Media, Technology) sector. In this capacity, you will utilize your proven expertise in selling complex technology solutions and managing accounts to promote our versatile platform. Our sales team is instrumental in guiding industry leaders to understand the transformative impact of Anaplan products, facilitating connected planning that eliminates siloed decision-making. You will assist clients in achieving their immediate business objectives while preparing them for future growth.

Your Responsibilities

  • Engage with targeted prospects in the technology, media, and telecommunications sectors to identify inefficiencies and demonstrate Anaplan's unique solutions.
  • Articulate Anaplan's business value throughout the sales process.
  • Deliver compelling presentations to decision-makers, including CFOs, CROs, and senior leaders across various business functions.
  • Manage customer relationships and oversee opportunity management from initiation to closure across multiple targets.
  • Implement Anaplan's value-based selling techniques to navigate sales processes and accurately project business outcomes.
  • Exhibit exceptional account leadership to uncover expansion opportunities through cross-selling and upselling.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales Development Representatives, Marketing, Solution Consultants, and Customer Success teams.

Your Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of consultative sales experience with Fortune 2000 companies, preferably in SaaS solutions.
  • Proven success in selling to Vice President and Senior Vice President-level buyers.
  • A track record of exceeding sales quotas and targets, including multiple high-value annual contracts.
  • A well-established network within your industry territory, comprising both clients and implementation partners.
  • Understanding of key domains such as Supply Chain, FP&A, Workforce Planning, and Sales, along with insights into their planning and decision-making processes.
  • Strong opportunity management skills, including sales process navigation, qualification, executive presentation, and negotiation capabilities.
  • A degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience selling to technology, media, and telecommunications accounts.
  • Awareness of the current business challenges faced by organizations in the technology, media, and telecommunications sectors.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with tools such as SFDC, Altify, Marketo, and Engagio is advantageous.
  • Experience in selling SaaS solutions within the Telecommunications, Media, or Technology sectors is a plus.
