San Francisco, California, United States Baton (A Ryder Technology Lab) Full time
Job OverviewAbout Us

Baton, a pioneering technology innovation lab under Ryder, is on the lookout for dynamic professionals who thrive in a fast-paced startup atmosphere while benefiting from the resources and stability of a prominent logistics enterprise.

As a part of Ryder, which operates a fleet of 260,000 trucks and oversees $7.4 billion in freight, Baton is committed to revolutionizing the logistics sector.

With roots as a venture-backed startup, Baton has gained invaluable insights into the industry by engaging directly with the challenges faced by drivers and logistics operators.

Our Mission

We aim to eradicate inefficiencies in the supply chain by developing a digital platform that optimizes freight management and minimizes waste.

Every year, the trucking industry loses 500 million hours to inefficiencies, wastes over 3 billion gallons of fuel due to idling, and sees 20% of trucks on the road operating empty. This not only affects the environment but also impacts the livelihoods of countless drivers and the overall cost of goods. At Baton, we are dedicated to addressing these issues through innovative solutions.
