Role Overview:

The Senior Technical Program Manager will oversee the meticulous planning, execution, and successful delivery of intricate software and hardware initiatives throughout the organization.

This role encompasses the development and management of budgets, timelines, and resources; collaboration with stakeholders; and providing transparency regarding project status, risks, and challenges. The aim is to ensure that programs are completed on schedule, within budget, and meet the required quality standards.

The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the program management function within the organization.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the intake, resource allocation, planning, execution, and performance metrics for a portfolio of cross-functional programs and projects.
  • Collaborate with engineering leadership to formulate and manage program and project plans, budgets, and resource timelines.
  • Engage with stakeholders, including executive leadership and project managers, to ensure alignment and consensus on program and project outcomes.
  • Continuously monitor and report on the progress of programs and projects.
  • Work closely with executive leadership, stakeholders, project managers, and engineers to proactively identify and mitigate risks, as well as eliminate obstacles to project success.
  • Ensure that programs are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to project managers and engineers.
  • Develop and implement innovative program management methodologies and tools to enhance the organization's capacity to deliver large-scale initiatives.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Technical proficiency in cloud networking and system software and hardware.
  • 7+ years of experience in technical program management, particularly with infrastructure and data center technologies.
  • Strong grasp of technical project management principles and practices.
  • Experience in mentoring project managers and engineers.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong sense of empathy for cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Capability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Resilience under pressure and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Compensation:

The compensation range for this position is between $180,000 and $210,000, which includes Restricted Stock Units. Compensation will be determined based on the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
