Job Overview

Reporting To: Sales Director and/or Catering Director

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Objective: Provide essential organizational and clerical support within the Sales Department, serving as the primary point of contact for all related inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Answer phone calls courteously and greet clients in a professional manner.
  2. Ensure a well-organized and visually appealing office environment.
  3. Establish and maintain an efficient filing system for sales documentation.
  4. Generate and distribute necessary reports for departmental needs.
  5. Create professional sales presentation materials, utilizing available resources and guidance.
  6. Handle inquiries from various channels including phone, written communication, advertising, and trade shows.
  7. Draft and send clear and professional correspondence and proposals.
  8. Conduct property tours, showcasing features, products, and services to clients and prospects.
  9. Foster positive relationships with all hotel departments to enhance communication and efficiency.
  10. Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Required Skills:

  1. Proficient in computer applications including word processing and spreadsheets, as well as property management systems.
  2. Demonstrate strong communication and listening abilities.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

  • At least 6 months of experience in an office or sales environment.
