Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Learning and Development Business Partner to join our team at Grange Insurance Association. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in designing and delivering training programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of our employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Learning Strategies: Partner with HR, leaders, and stakeholders to create a cohesive learning strategy that aligns with business goals and employee development needs.
  • Design and Deliver Training Programs: Create engaging and effective training materials and lead sessions that enable learners to apply their knowledge in day-to-day workflows.
  • Technical Departmental Training: Develop and deliver training curriculum for Claims, Operations, and Underwriting departments.
  • Skills-Based Training: Design and deliver training programs that focus on specific skills and competencies across the organization.
  • Training Delivery Methods: Utilize a combination of delivery methods, including virtual, in-person, and asynchronous training.
  • Training Evaluation and Improvement: Track, report, and evaluate training programs for participation and effectiveness, making recommendations for new solutions and improvements.
Requirements
  • Experience in Learning and Development: 4+ years of experience in Learning & Development, applying adult learning principles to professional development.
  • Industry Experience: Experience in Claims or Underwriting.
  • Instructional Design and Content Creation: Proven experience in instructional design and content creation.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in HR, Training & Development, Organizational Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
  • Skills and Abilities: Strong research, planning, and organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail. Skilled facilitator with the ability to adapt to diverse learning environments and various skill levels.
  • Deep Understanding of Learning Principles: Deep understanding of learning and performance principles, including e-learning, learning management systems, and instructional design.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Industry Knowledge: Prior experience in Property & Casualty Insurance preferred.

  • Competitive Compensation: Pay Range: $72,933 - $102,723 depending on experience.
