Technical Architect for Public Sector AI

Position Overview:

As a vital member of the Solutions Architect team at Anthropic Limited, you will be instrumental in promoting the adoption of advanced AI technologies by crafting tailored LLM solutions specifically for the Public Sector. Your blend of customer engagement experience and technical expertise will empower you to design innovative solutions that effectively meet our clients' operational needs while ensuring a high standard of reliability and safety.

Working collaboratively with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams, you will assist enterprise partners in integrating cutting-edge AI systems into their offerings. Your strong communication skills will enable you to articulate and demonstrate complex solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You will play a key role in identifying opportunities for innovation and differentiation in our AI systems while upholding our commitment to best-in-class safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary technical consultant for potential Public Sector clients assessing Claude. Showcase how Claude can fulfill the client's specific use cases through tailored proofs of concept. Provide expert guidance on integration, deployment, and best practices for adoption.
  • Collaborate closely with account executives to grasp customer requirements. Tailor Claude's functionalities to illustrate how it aligns with the client's needs. Develop customized pilots, prototypes, and evaluation suites to support customer adoption.
  • Facilitate technical decision-making by advising on the optimal configuration, architecture, and integration of Claude within the client's existing systems. Propose solutions to overcome technical challenges.
  • Assist in customer onboarding by coordinating cross-functionally to ensure a smooth ramp-up and adoption process. Act as a continuous technical advisor throughout the implementation phase and beyond.
  • Occasionally travel to client locations for workshops, implementation support, and relationship building.
  • Establish a collective vision for developing solutions that promote safe and beneficial AI.
  • Lead the vision, strategy, and execution of innovative solutions that leverage the capabilities of our latest models.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in roles such as Customer Engineer, Forward Deployed Engineer, Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Platform Engineer within the Public Sector.
  • Possession of an active security clearance is essential.
  • Experience in designing innovative solutions for technical platforms in emerging business sectors.
  • Strong technical acumen to collaborate effectively with engineers and proficiency in software engineering.
  • Adept at navigating and executing in ambiguous situations, adapting to various domains based on the business challenges, and identifying straightforward, comprehensible solutions.
  • Enthusiasm for engaging in cross-organizational collaboration, managing trade-offs, and balancing competing priorities.
  • A passion for teaching, mentoring, and fostering the success of others.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of conveying complex topics in an easily digestible manner to a diverse audience of internal and external stakeholders.
  • A commitment to creatively leveraging technology in a manner that is safe and beneficial, ultimately advancing the goal of developing safe AI systems.
