Role Description:

As a Principal Consultant in Technology Strategy, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the strategic vision for our retail media network. This involves utilizing advanced technologies to craft immersive and engaging experiences for both consumers and advertisers. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to oversee all facets of network architecture, content delivery, monetization strategies, and performance enhancement.

Your Contributions:
  • Strategic Development: Formulate a detailed roadmap for the establishment and expansion of the retail media network, ensuring alignment with business goals and market dynamics.
  • Industry Leadership: Keep informed about the latest trends and advancements in retail media and digital advertising, contributing to the firm's thought leadership and reinforcing our reputation as a trusted advisor in the retail sector.
  • Innovative Solutions: Partner with cross-functional teams to devise cutting-edge solutions and offerings that leverage retail media capabilities to generate business impact for clients.
  • Technology Assessment: Conduct comprehensive research and evaluation of emerging Ad Tech and platforms to bolster the Retail Media Network.
  • Revenue Strategies: Define and implement robust monetization strategies, including advertising partnerships, sponsored content, and promotions, to optimize revenue potential.
  • Strategic Alliances: Forge strategic partnerships with technology vendors, content providers, advertisers, and other stakeholders to enhance the network's capabilities and outreach.
  • Performance Management: Employ data-driven methodologies to monitor and enhance network performance, utilizing analytics and insights to improve user engagement and return on investment.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to relevant regulations and industry standards, implementing strong security measures to safeguard consumer privacy and data integrity.
  • Team Development: Lead and mentor a team of technical specialists, promoting a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively with senior leadership, business partners, and external stakeholders to foster alignment and support for retail media network initiatives.
Qualifications:

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or equivalent business experience is preferred.
  • A proven history of 8-10 years in a strategic technology role, focusing on digital media, advertising, or retail sectors.
  • Extensive knowledge of Retail Media Networks, Ad Tech, DSP & SSP, digital signage, and related technologies.
  • Strong business insight and strategic thinking, with the ability to translate technical concepts into actionable business strategies.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, capable of influencing and collaborating effectively across all organizational levels.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a passion for innovation and achieving results.
