POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are in search of a seasoned Lead Corporate Communications Strategist to oversee and guide clients through corporate initiatives.

Your role will involve collaborating with team members, offering strategic advice and insights to clients, and achieving outcomes that encompass both traditional and innovative public relations strategies.

You will gain a thorough understanding of your clients' businesses, products, markets, and key industry influencers.

The Lead Corporate Communications Strategist will closely partner with senior team members to execute reputation management strategies for Zeno clients nationwide.

Additionally, this position will encompass the development of new business proposals and presentations, alongside the chance to enhance the firm's intellectual assets.

You will be accountable for ensuring the overall quality of projects and accounts, while also managing budget compliance.

As part of a team, you will work across various accounts in sectors such as consumer goods, technology, professional services, and B2B, while being expected to lead projects and mentor junior staff as needed.

Success at Zeno requires confidence, resourcefulness, and determination, along with a solid grasp of both traditional and non-traditional PR tactics and the media landscape, enabling you to deliver exceptional results for clients while fostering strong relationships with both clients and team members.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Implement media relations strategies and conduct outreach for various programs/projects. Identify new growth avenues based on insights into the organization, client, industry, and economic landscape. Lead the client service function for program development, problem resolution, and strategic advice.
Maintain financial oversight for accounts, including forecasting and ensuring account profitability. Provide strategic guidance and support to clients, as well as to colleagues within the Zeno network, to ensure successful outcomes. Secure, sustain, and expand business relationships.
Act as the primary client liaison, representing the agency and addressing client concerns thoughtfully and effectively.
Comprehend key competitors and their business strategies.

Stay informed about critical industry issues affecting clients, including products, categories, technologies, primary and potential competition, and general industry challenges.

Collaborate across geographies and help shape the strategic direction and focus of the practice.

REQUIREMENTS:
6-8 years of experience in public relations; agency experience is preferred.
A bachelor's degree.
A collaborative mindset, results-oriented approach, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
Exceptional writing skills across a diverse range of client deliverables, including communication plans, pitches, articles, blogs, etc.
Experience in crafting strategic plans and high-level deliverables that are polished and client-ready.
Preferred experience in retail, professional services, technology, healthcare, and financial services.
In-depth knowledge of reputation management and familiarity with both traditional and non-traditional media. Proven track record of building relationships with media professionals and achieving results for clients.
Strong background in corporate communications and established corporate media relations contacts.
Excellent presentation skills, with experience in direct client engagement and participation in client meetings and new business pitches.

Think strategically, creatively, and holistically about client programs, demonstrating confidence in presenting viewpoints during brainstorming sessions.
