We are seeking a Lead Sales Strategist to enhance our presence among Tier 1 and 2 banks in the Eastern US.
This role involves developing and managing a robust sales pipeline, qualifying leads generated through various channels, and overseeing significant contracts to successful closure.
The ideal candidate will possess both technical and business acumen, supported by our dedicated sales and marketing teams.
This position is perfect for someone who thrives on building a regional presence from the ground up, enjoys autonomy, and collaborates effectively across teams.
Duties• Create and present proposals that align with customer priorities and critical needs.
• Cultivate and nurture relationships at various levels:
• Engage with sponsors, influencers, and decision-makers to generate interest and expand the pipeline. Achieve and surpass annual regional targets for software licensing and professional services contracts.
• Collaborate with sales engineers, delivery, and marketing teams to develop targeted sales initiatives.
• Balance your time between advancing high-potential leads and fostering long-term opportunities.
• Understand the needs and challenges of potential and existing clients, collaborating with our internal product and development teams.• Formulate and execute the regional sales strategy.
Requirements
Essential
• Proven history of exceeding software sales objectives.
• Experience in selling enterprise software or services to Tier 1 and 2 banks or financial institutions.
• Familiarity with banking procurement practices and the typical sales lifecycle for enterprise platforms.
• Strong understanding of the challenges faced by retail banks, including technological, regulatory, and commercial pressures.• Demonstrated ability to generate leads with a high conversion rate.
• Quick comprehension of prospective clients' needs, enabling competent discussions regarding technical and commercial aspects.
• Excellent objection handling and negotiation skills, maintaining professionalism and grace.
• Ability to establish credible, trustworthy relationships and influence key decision-makers, particularly at the C-suite level.
• Experience in dynamic start-ups or established companies selling enterprise software.• Consistent track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets, bringing energy and passion to conversations.
• Knowledge of domain-driven design, BIAN, and modern event-driven system architecture.

• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure technology.
• Experience in a global scale-up or as an early-stage employee in a new market.
• Insight into core banking modernization and the challenges of transitioning from mainframe to cloud.
