Job Overview

As a Manufacturing Quality Engineer at Philips, you will be instrumental in driving excellence within the Emergency Care - Home and Public (EC-HP) division. Your main objective will be to spearhead quality initiatives that align with both organizational goals and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead quality initiatives within manufacturing operations
  • Engage in risk management activities
  • Facilitate the smooth transition of designs into production
  • Conduct independent technical assessments of engineering outputs
  • Direct quality-related issue resolution and root cause analysis, including CAPA processes
  • Collaborate with production teams to resolve non-conformance issues and minimize quality-related costs
  • Employ relevant data and statistical techniques to track product quality metrics
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years in the medical device sector or over 7 years in regulated industries
  • Demonstrated experience in CAPA, Non-Conforming Product, or Design Transfer
  • Comprehensive understanding of quality principles, systems, and methodologies
  • Experience in developing quality systems and ensuring compliance with international standards
  • Adept at designing and implementing effective quality programs
  • Skilled in aligning product and process quality with established standards
  • ASQ Quality Engineer Certification is a plus

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is between $77,000 and $143,000 annually, with actual compensation determined by factors such as expertise, experience, and location.

Alongside base salary, additional incentives such as bonuses, commissions, and long-term rewards may be available. Employees benefit from a comprehensive package that includes PTO, 401k matching, HSA contributions, stock options, and more.
