Job Overview

As a Manufacturing Quality Engineer at Philips, you will be instrumental in driving manufacturing excellence within the Emergency Care - Home and Public (EC-HP) division. Your main objective will be to spearhead quality initiatives that align with both business objectives and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead quality initiatives throughout manufacturing processes
  • Engage in risk management activities
  • Facilitate the smooth transition of designs into manufacturing
  • Conduct independent technical assessments of engineering outputs
  • Direct quality-driven issue resolution and root cause analysis, including CAPA processes
  • Collaborate with production teams to resolve non-conforming products and minimize quality-related costs
  • Leverage relevant data sources and statistical techniques to evaluate product quality performance
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the medical device sector or over 7 years in regulated industries
  • Demonstrated expertise in areas such as CAPA, Non-Conforming Product, or Design Transfer
  • Comprehensive understanding of quality principles, systems, and methodologies
  • Experience in developing quality systems and ensuring compliance with international standards
  • Adept at designing and implementing effective quality programs
  • Skilled in ensuring product and process quality meets established standards
  • ASQ Quality Engineer Certification is a plus

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is between $77,000 and $143,000 annually, with actual compensation determined by various factors such as expertise, experience, and location.

In addition to base salary, other incentives like bonuses, commissions, and long-term rewards may be available. Employees benefit from a comprehensive package that includes PTO, 401k matching, HSA contributions, stock options, and more.

Additional Information

Relocation support may be provided for this role. This position requires residency in the vicinity of Bothell, WA.
