Join Our Team as a Quality Assurance Specialist
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Specialist who will conduct thorough inspections and support the development and execution of product and process audits across all stages of electronic device production. This includes, but is not limited to, Final Assembly, Sub Assembly, In-process, Component, Fabrication, and Receiving inspections.
Key Responsibilities:
· This role is crucial for ensuring our clients' success by engaging in continuous improvement initiatives and utilizing metrics to establish benchmarks for productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
· The individual will be accountable for adhering to all established standards.
· Responsibilities encompass executing First Article and Final Inspections on a variety of components, from procured parts to finished products.
· The Quality Assurance Specialist will also demonstrate proficiency in the use of Johnson Gauge tools, perform tool setups, and take on the responsibility of mentoring junior Quality Inspectors.
Compensation: $25-29 per hour
Work Schedule: 6 AM - 3:30 PM (Monday - Thursday) and 6 AM - 2:30 PM every other Friday.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
· 1-2 years of experience in quality assurance within the aerospace sector.
· Certification in Flight Safety.
· Proficient in the Essential Functions of a Quality Inspector.
· Skilled in the operation of Johnson Gauge tools.
· Capable of conducting First Article Inspections, Final Inspections, and tool setups.
Work Environment:
· This position is situated within an aerospace manufacturing setting. Employees may frequently encounter vibrations and occasionally face the risk of electric shock.
· The noise level in the workplace is typically very high.
