About the Role

PagerDuty is seeking a highly skilled Majors Growth Account Executive to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our customer base.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to grow existing accounts and identify new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior-level executives to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Utilize technical knowledge and sales expertise to effectively communicate the value of PagerDuty's products and services to customers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales strategies and tactics.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall growth and success of the company.
Requirements
  • 5-8 years of field sales experience, preferably in software sales or SaaS sales.
  • 3-5 years of experience expanding into new areas of existing accounts.
  • Enterprise Account Management experience with $500M+, Fortune 500 and Global 2000 companies.
  • Sold in a multi-product selling environment before.
  • Effective time management, complex deal management, account planning, and analytical skills.
  • Consistent track record of exceeding sales targets.
  • Self-sufficient with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Previous Sales Methodology training (e.g. MEDDIC, SPIN, Command of Message, Challenger Sales).
