Job Overview

The Senior Manager of Facility Services oversees the management of facility operations and maintenance departments, utilizing technical knowledge to assess and enhance Aramark's operational standards. This role ensures compliance with established protocols and drives adherence to Aramark's operational guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The manager conducts industry research to keep Aramark competitive and innovative while fostering collaborative relationships across departments for cohesive facility management.

COMPENSATION: The salary for this role is projected between $160,000 and $175,000, influenced by factors such as the applicant's skills, qualifications, relevant degrees and certifications, previous experience, market trends, and other pertinent elements. Additional compensation may include bonuses or commissions where applicable. This represents Aramark's good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position at the time of posting.

Upon hiring, the employee will be in an "at-will position," allowing Aramark to adjust base salary and other discretionary payments or compensation programs at any time and for any reason, including but not limited to individual performance, departmental performance, and market conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversees and directs all activities related to facility maintenance, engineering services, and ancillary services, ensuring financial accountability and compliance with Aramark's standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Achieves strong operational outcomes by adhering to Aramark, client, and regulatory standards, continuously monitoring performance, and implementing necessary action plans to maintain an optimal and safe facility maintenance program that enhances client satisfaction.
  • Ensures compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Provides leadership for all ancillary services, including custodial, event support, and administrative functions.
  • Manages vendor performance to meet the highest standards.
  • Engages with client management to maintain effective relationships across all levels of the client organization.
  • Identifies opportunities for service expansion within Aramark.
  • Directs and manages performance for all facility and maintenance supervisors and frontline staff, ensuring employee development and adherence to human resource policies.
  • Develops operational forecasts and explains variances effectively.
  • Collaborates with the Site Controller on accounting functions and capital budget management.
  • Ensures effective use of Aramark and client CMMS for operational management.
  • Maintains compliance with all contractual obligations and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Qualifications
  • 5-7 years of experience in facilities maintenance management.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in mechanical or electrical engineering or a related field is preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Experience with profit and loss (P&L) management.
  • Proficient in preventive maintenance for building systems (e.g., boilers, chillers, HVAC/R).
  • Strong analytical and time management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to adapt creatively and flexibly to dynamic situations.
