Job Summary:

Super Micro Computer, Inc. is seeking an experienced Facilities Operations Manager to oversee the daily functions necessary to support office and manufacturing operations, as well as the maintenance of facilities. In this supervisory role, you will focus on delivering site support for all aspects of facility requirements related to building and equipment repairs, preventive maintenance, inspections, and various site activities as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee maintenance and operational activities in collaboration with customers and other departments, including scheduling.
  • Maintain Supermicro's electrical and mechanical systems through appropriate testing and upkeep.
  • Provide technical guidance on various standards and engineering requirements to effectively collaborate with external contractors.
  • Respond to and furnish necessary technical data and reports to local authorities regarding environmental regulations and compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols.
  • Assist in monitoring and tracking budget expenditures.
  • Document work performed and materials/supplies utilized.
  • Process purchase requests in the computerized purchasing system.
  • Engage with customers and clients to maintain effective working relationships.
  • Support the facilities team as required.
  • Participate in a weekend supervisor rotation schedule as established by management.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in facilities management, with a technical background in facilities management and manufacturing maintenance preferred.
  • Strong understanding of safety and environmental regulations, with extensive experience in all aspects of facility development, including conceptualization, program development, design, team selection, procurement, budget management, compliance, and project management.
  • Proven experience managing contractors and subcontractors.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and make informed decisions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to creatively develop and implement maintenance solutions to enhance equipment performance.
  • Knowledge and experience to support daily operations as well as a variety of projects throughout the year.
Please note that this position requires regular in-office attendance. The successful candidate is expected to be present in the office during standard working hours as determined by the company. In-office collaboration and participation in team meetings, training sessions, and other on-site activities are essential aspects of this role. Candidates should consider the commuting distance and be prepared to fulfill their responsibilities in the designated office location.

Salary Range

$75,000 - $90,000

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
