Senior Continuity Management Specialist

Job Summary

The Senior Continuity Management Specialist role at ANSER involves supporting the OUSD(A&S) Continuity Program Manager to ensure a comprehensive and integrated continuity program that enhances the integrity of essential functions performance and enables a more rapid and effective response to catastrophic emergencies.

  • Providing analytical support in continuity planning, training, exercise development, strategy development, readiness reporting, crisis management support, and more.
  • Expertise in implementing DoD Instruction and DoD Directive, along with WHS and OSD policies.
  • Must be physically and mentally prepared for helicopter flights and other challenging tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement continuity plans to ensure business continuity and minimize disruptions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks to continuity.
  • Provide training and exercise development to ensure readiness and preparedness.
  • Support crisis management efforts to ensure effective response to emergencies.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant policies and regulations to ensure compliance.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree in a relevant discipline plus 7 years of experience.
  • Top Secret Clearance.
  • Experience in coordinating legislative analysts and working on the Hill.
  • Strong writing skills and familiarity with OUSD(A&S) staff and DoD organizational structure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and in high operational tempo environments.
