AHU Technologies Inc is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead and oversee the Release Management and Continuous Improvement initiatives from a senior leadership standpoint.


Detailed Responsibilities:

This role is situated within the Department of Health Care Finance, supporting the DC Access System (DCAS). The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in managing various components of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) within a Project Management Office (PMO).

The Continuous Improvement Manager will facilitate and oversee the planning, execution, and quality improvement efforts across the organization. This includes ensuring that initiatives align with corporate strategic objectives and timelines, while also implementing goal alignment activities with cross-functional teams.

The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of projects aimed at minimizing waste and enhancing quality to deliver greater value. Collaboration with department heads and team members will be essential to identify bottlenecks, redundancies, and inefficiencies in processes.

Additionally, this role will involve conducting regular release meetings with various disciplines within DCAS to guarantee timely product delivery. The Senior Project Manager will ensure that follow-ups on improvement events are completed, including scheduling and facilitating ongoing status reviews with all stakeholders.

This position is pivotal in fostering a culture of sustainable continuous improvement and operational excellence, while meeting business expectations. Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Waste Reduction, Efficiency Improvements, Quality Pass Rate, and process controls.
  • Demonstrating a proven track record of successful SDLC completion and a strong understanding of project management methodologies.
  • Managing vendor relationships effectively and being well-versed in relevant policies and procedures.
  • Leading the management, implementation, and reporting of complex initiatives by collaborating with program leaders to develop roadmaps and staffing plans that ensure cross-functional alignment.
  • Prioritizing work, setting deadlines, and assigning resources in collaboration with other department managers.
  • Ensuring project governance, roles, responsibilities, and outcomes are consistently maintained and improved.
  • Driving effective communication and project tracking across a portfolio of work for stakeholder visibility.
  • Monitoring compliance with project management standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Leading transformation and change management initiatives within project management.
  • Serving as an escalation point for direct reports and senior management.

This position is fully remote.
