AHU Technologies Inc is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead and oversee the Release Management and Continuous Improvement initiatives within the organization.
Detailed Responsibilities:
This role is integral to the Department of Health Care Finance, focusing on the DC Access System (DCAS). The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in managing various components of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) within a Project Management Office (PMO).
The Continuous Improvement Manager will be responsible for facilitating and managing the planning and execution of quality improvement efforts. This includes ensuring that all initiatives align with corporate strategic objectives and timelines, while also implementing goal alignment activities across cross-functional teams.
The Senior Project Manager will manage a portfolio of projects aimed at minimizing waste and enhancing quality to deliver greater value. This involves collaborating with department heads and team members to identify and address bottlenecks, redundancies, and process disconnects.
Additionally, this role includes conducting regular release meetings with various disciplines within DCAS to ensure timely product delivery. The Senior Project Manager will ensure that follow-up on improvement events is completed, including scheduling and facilitating ongoing status reviews with all stakeholders.
This position is crucial for fostering a culture of sustainable continuous improvement and operational excellence, while also meeting business expectations. Key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Waste Reduction, Efficiency Improvements, Quality Pass Rate, and process controls will be monitored and reported.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in SDLC completion, a solid understanding of project management methodologies, and experience in vendor management. Familiarity with district policies and procedures is essential.
Responsibilities also include leading the management, implementation, and reporting of complex initiatives, developing roadmaps and timelines, and making staffing decisions based on organizational capabilities and future needs. Collaboration with other department managers and directors to prioritize work, set deadlines, and allocate resources for standardized processes is expected.
Ensuring project governance, roles, responsibilities, and outcomes are maintained and enhanced is a key aspect of this role. The Senior Project Manager will deliver value by managing a portfolio of work for customers, offering strategic alignment for the success of the PMO.
Effective communication and project tracking across the portfolio will be essential for stakeholder visibility and internal awareness. The Senior Project Manager will work closely with vendors and stakeholders to clarify expectations and reduce confusion.
Compliance with project management standards, policies, procedures, and templates will be monitored, and the candidate will successfully lead project management transformation and change management initiatives.
