Our clientele includes Fortune 500 companies and industry leaders across retail, apparel, automotive, e-commerce, manufacturing, and beyond. With a workforce exceeding 1800 employees, Geek+ operates in various regions including China, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Germany, the UK, and the US.
We are seeking a PR & Channel Marketing Manager to implement our marketing and communication strategies in the US, contributing to the expansion of our business. This role will support the head of marketing in executing a range of activities including public relations initiatives, channel partner collaborations, media engagement, event marketing, content creation, and digital marketing efforts.
Key Responsibilities- Public Relations: Develop and manage comprehensive PR campaigns from inception to evaluation, including:
- Creating brand materials such as press releases, articles, press kits, infographics, pitch notes, invitations, blog posts, and award submissions.
- Generating earned media coverage focused on Geek+'s product offerings, including event participation and product launches.
- Media/Partner/Vendor Relations: Build and maintain robust relationships with national media and brand partners in the U.S., while supporting global PR initiatives.
- Channel Marketing: Collaborate closely with channel partners to devise effective co-marketing strategies and campaigns:
- Formulate and execute brand positioning and strategy tailored for partner marketing across various channels.
- Design channel-specific strategies aligned with upcoming product launches.
- Establish measurement frameworks to align with campaign objectives, utilizing data-driven methodologies to enhance marketing effectiveness.
- Identify collaborative opportunities across U.S. and global teams to streamline strategies and drive success.
- Event Marketing: Assist the U.S. team with marketing communications strategies before and after events.
- Content Development: Collaborate with U.S. and global teams to produce social media, web, and print content that aligns with our brand voice.
- Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations, Journalism, English, or a related field.
- 5-6 years of experience in Public Relations, preferably with corporate brands; agency experience is a plus.
- Strong business acumen with a solid understanding of B2B marketing and communications.
- Exceptional writing skills with the ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences.
- Proficient in crafting PR presentations that effectively communicate campaign concepts and outcomes.
- Ability to define and monitor performance metrics.
- Passion for technology and an interest in robotics and logistics.
- Willingness to work in a dynamic, multicultural environment that requires adaptability and quick thinking.
- Availability for travel related to trade shows and promotional activities.
