How you'll make an impact:
Within the SiriusXM Channel Marketing Team, we are Channel Specialists that provide expertise in direct response marketing. We know the right people, process and tools needed to yield the best response within a marketing channel (e.g. Email, Mobile, Direct Mail, Contact Center, etc).
Our group is responsible for supporting various lines of businesses (i.e. internal clients) with acquiring, engaging, retaining and winning back customers. This includes executing marketing communications, enabling speed to market, improving response and other business KPIs.
SiriusXM is seeking an energetic and agile Manager of Email Marketing to join us. The candidate should be an innovative and results driven marketer, with specific experience within the email channel. This role is responsible for leading various email campaigns and projects and will collaborate day to day with our internal lines of business.
What you'll do:
- The ideal candidate is an email campaign project management expert with a high level of attention to detail. Managing multiple project schedules and ensuring deadlines are met with an output of successful campaigns that meet/exceed the business objectives.
- Primary responsibilities will focus on executing day-to-day email marketing campaigns to engage, retain and upsell subscribers. This includes developing new campaigns as well as amplifying recurring existing campaigns effectively, efficiently, and strategically.
- Serve as liaison between business units, channel leads and cross-functional teams (i.e. Creative Labs, Brand, Legal, Digital/Online Experience, Campaign Operations, Programming & Analytics) to support campaign development and execution. A high level of collaboration among many key stakeholders is critical.
- Facilitate the end-to-end creative development process. From writing briefs/creative requests that are based on data-driven best practices and channel insights to evaluating creative and giving appropriate feedback to support its development.
- Leverage content to drive engagement. Utilize our robust content to drive further engagement across various audiences.
- Monitor performance and share learnings:
The role will also be accountable for monitoring the health of email campaigns in their area of responsibility. The candidate will have a proven history of data-driven decision making and a deep understanding of email channel KPIs and website analytics. They will be adept at analyzing performance reports and communicating optimization recommendations/findings to other cross functional stakeholders.

years of engagement and retention email marketing experience focused on campaign development, execution & analytics is a must. - 3
years of project management experience working across various cross-functional teams. - Bachelor's degree with a focus on marketing or related field, or equivalent, relevant experience.
- Strong ability to execute business initiatives & projects on a timely basis with an eye towards quality and accuracy.
- Experience in other digital channels (social, app, website) a plus.
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience a plus.
- Prior experience in a subscription model business driving engagement and retention, a plus.
- Extremely process oriented and can run project schedules -- keeping on top of deadlines and deliverable across multiple project deliverables.
- A modern marketer with a digital first mindset.
- Self-starter who understands this role requires strong execution and hands on experience.
- Ability to evaluate current processes and look for efficiencies to streamline and go to market faster.
- A keen eye for creative -- familiar with copy, messaging strategy & design best practices as well as a know how to champion creative quality.
- Deep understanding of direct response principles and tactics.
- Organized with the ability to manage multiple projects AND cross functional partners while consistently meeting deadlines.
- Must be able to communicate & collaborate effectively with all levels of management & partners while operating in a complex and rapidly changing environment.
- Ability to operate independently in a matrixed team environment.
- Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and an ability to prioritize tasks in a highly fluid, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
- Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
- Knowledge of web and email production and deployment, including URL structure, parameters, redirects and logic.
- Experience with Project Management Tools (i.e. Workfront, , etc.)
- Knowledge of various reporting tools including Tableau or similar BI platforms (i.e. Adobe reporting, Google Analytics, etc.).
