This position plays a vital role in advancing our media engagement across various regions and facilitating our outreach into new territories.
Core Responsibilities:
- Media Engagement: Establish and nurture relationships with key media representatives in both broadcast and print sectors. Execute outreach strategies to secure coverage across all Serenity markets.
- Strategic Messaging: Create impactful articles, press statements, and various content types to elevate Serenity's services and projects. Formulate and execute strategic communication plans that align with our marketing goals.
- Market Development: Assist in PR activities during the introduction of new markets. This involves crafting customized media strategies, generating market-specific content, and collaborating with local media outlets.
- Content Development: Compose and refine press releases, articles, and other media materials that showcase Serenity's distinctive offerings and success narratives.
- Media Analysis: Monitor and evaluate media coverage. Provide regular updates on PR efforts and their outcomes.
- Team Collaboration: Partner closely with the marketing department to ensure uniform messaging across all platforms. Coordinate with other teams to gather pertinent information for media narratives.
Candidate Profile:
- Experience: 1-3 years in a public relations agency, demonstrating a successful history of media placements and strategic communication.
- Skills: Exceptional writing and editing capabilities. Strong grasp of media relations and the ability to craft engaging stories.
- Strategic Insight: Proficient in developing and implementing comprehensive PR strategies that enhance visibility and engagement.
- Communication Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities. Capacity to foster and maintain relationships with media contacts.
- Flexibility: Ability to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Capable of managing multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related discipline.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience within the healthcare or mental health sector.
- Familiarity with the media landscape in Serenity's current and prospective markets.
- Background in crisis communication and handling media inquiries under pressure.
