Join the Department of Rehabilitation as a Staff Services Manager II, leading a high-performing section responsible for developing and implementing program policies, regulations, and legislation to improve opportunities for Californians with disabilities.



Key Responsibilities

As a Staff Services Manager II, you will:




  • Lead a team in developing and implementing program policies, regulations, and legislation to improve opportunities for Californians with disabilities.
  • Analyze, innovate, develop, and implement policy governing the state vocational rehabilitation (VR) program, information technology business requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure quality, compliance, and effectiveness of program service delivery.
  • Develop and monitor processes to improve the Department's ability to meet and exceed federal and state performance measures.


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:




  • Leadership experience working in programs or activities that demonstrate commitment to equality for individuals with disabilities.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing public policy working with staff, stakeholders, advisory bodies, control agencies, and other interested parties.
  • A clear vision of leadership, including what drives you to be a leader and your greatest strength.
  • Experience developing and maintaining strong, collaborative partnerships to achieve strategic business goals.


What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $105,744 - $147,394 per year, depending on your qualifications and experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, dental and vision coverage, retirement savings plan, and more.
