Job Description and Duties

Under the general direction of the Executive Director, Deputy Executive Director, or the Staff Services Manager II, the incumbent performs analytical duties related to monitoring and compliance of the various bond and loan programs for the California Health Facilities Financing Authority (CHFFA) and the California Educational Facilities Authority (CEFA).

This position requires a Background Investigation to be cleared prior to being hired.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze complex issues related to bond and loan programs.
  • Develop recommendations to resolve issues and ensure compliance.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Director, Deputy Executive Director, and the Staff Services Manager II to ensure effective program management.
  • Provide support for the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in regulations and laws affecting CHFFA and CEFA programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a field related to finance, business, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a related field, preferably in analysis and compliance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a field related to finance, business, or a related field.
  • Experience with bond and loan programs, and/or government regulations.
  • Knowledge of financial software and systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
